Having Digestive troubles? Homeopathy is here to help!! part 2

Hungry?

No??

Hungry but easily satieted?

Or scared to eat at all ?

Or Ravenously hungry?

Any of these problems!!  Homeopathy has gems of remedies to help.

In part 1 of digestive issues, we briefed about- Bloating, Heartburn, Constipation, Diarrhoea, Nausea & vomiting .

But practically, it can not be one symptom alone, all are interconnected. Gut is said to be our second brain. These days GUT is being really and righteously hyped in all the trending reels and shorts. We need to take really good care of our Gut with proper and balanced diet.

When our digestive system is not working properly, suppose bloating itself may lead to not feeling hungry, or constipation too due to improper bowel evacuation. But, story of Anorexia i.e. not feeling hungry or lost appetite is not limited to gut itself but can be psychological. The social peer, fear of getting fat or people trying to loose weight or Depression; these all can affect our appetite causing Anorexia and vice a versa Bulimia. So, we take a whole case in detail and root out the real cause to get a healthy individual.

Bulimia or ravenous hunger or binge eating which may or may not be followed by purging. If at all you are fan of Kung fu Panda, you must be aware of the dialogue- I eat when I am stressed. Most of us do over eat when in tension or stress and its common due to easy availability of things to binge on and our incapability to cope up with the stress. One may smoke over a dozen of cigarettes , other might turn to alcohol, some to tobacco products- ghutka, khaini etc, those not so called addicts -binge on food- sweets, chocolates, junk food. In the above mentioned movie- it was Panda, its body is meant to be chubby, fluffy but not us. Anything in excess hurts because its harmful to our health. Correct the lifestyle, correct the emotions, correct the disease.

Pica or perverted craving- we can see this condition most commonly in worm infestated children, pregnant women, severe anaemia, malnutrition and chronic gastric disorders as well. Pica is a condition, where the individual gets craving for indigestible things or non food items like chalk, mud, etc.

However, perverted craving may also include uncontrolled craving leading to bulimia or  over eating and infact sometimes craving for things increases which are not suitable for us like craving for wheat chapatis while having gluten intolerance, or for milk in individual having lactose intolerance. All these complains can be corrected with proper Homeopathic treatment and life style modifications.

Pain in the pit of stomach may be due to hunger, hyperacidity, gastritis, ulcers or even neuralgic that is due to nerve irritation. Pain abdomen also has varied range of causes including chronic Bowel diseases like Chrons & Ulcerative colitis, acute causes may lead to mild to severe pain as well like in gall stone colic & appendicitis. Other causative factors may include liver affectation, excess gas formation, severe constipation or even dysentry & diarrhoea. Worms infestation are one of the leading cause of pain stomach in children.

While all these complaints appear localized, we need to be aware of the root cause, which varies from our food, lifestyle, and emotions. Every individual is different and so is the case thus every case has a different approach leading to different medicines in Homeopathy. But one term that needs to be common is Lifestyle, which will vary from person to person but should be sought for the individual’s most suited way. Our lifestyle and food impact our overall health. We need to cut down on packaged, oily & sugary items as much as possible. Our food must include more fresh fruits and veggies and better without any junk food. We must have adequate water intake as well. Choose natural gut bacteria or probiotics over commercial ones by opting for homemade curd, pickles, etc. Fruits like custard apples, watermelon, grapefruit, and bananas help enhance the good bacterial growth in our intestines thus improving our digestive health. Fresh fruits and exercise not only help us attain good physique but are great contributor our body,s both brain, the first one our Nervous system the other our digestive system. So eat right, exercise well, think right & sleep tight, your Health will be alright. If you are still in trouble, do connect with us at Chikitsailaaj.com, we are there to help.
